A message of love

Today, my heart goes out to those who have lost a child, longed for a child they will never have, lost a mother, longed for a mother they will never know, are estranged from a mother/child, and anyone else for whom this day brings sadness instead of celebration. You are loved and worthy, exactly the way you are.

(There may be, if I can find the time, a new Kat story today. She’s finding a new way to deal with Mother’s Day today.)

Thanks for talking about such a sensitive subject. We all know someone are the person who has difficulty having a child. These are women that would be great moms and it is something that is hard to understand, especially when you see women with children they don’t want. I remember those days.
When I wish someone Happy Mother’s day, I am saying that to all women – daughters, sisters, nieces, daughter-in laws. and mother in laws, next door neighbor, a woman at work or at church, a best friend and to those who are lucky to have children.
    Happy Mother’s Day

Oh, yes. The key is having realistic expectations, I think. When we expect all women to celebrate a happy day of mothering, it only serves to isolate and alienate those who can’t celebrate.

It’s time to celebrate sisterhood, I think. 🙂

Gentle hugs, Kathryn. Thank you so much for coming here today and sharing. I am sure that everything you do and say, not just today, honors your child and your mother. You live your life with integrity and dignity, and we are fortunate to know you. You are loved, too.

Thank you so much for joining the discussion! Please play nicely or you may be asked to stand in the corner. ;)
